Jeff Kraunz has spent over two decades in public education, culminating in his role as Executive Director of Creekside Charter School in Olympic Valley, CA, where he has served for the past eight years. With a strong foundation in education leadership, Jeff’s experience spans classroom instruction, administration, and organizational management. He holds a Master of Education from Boston University and a Master’s in Administration from Western State College of Colorado, bringing both academic expertise and practical insight to his work. Throughout his career, Jeff has focused on building inclusive, high-performing educational environments that prioritize academic excellence, staff development, and meaningful engagement with students and families.
As Executive Director, Jeff leverages his extensive experience to cultivate a positive community culture at Creekside Charter, where he emphasizes strong relationships, communication, and the importance of joy and fun in learning. His dedication to the Olympic Valley community extends beyond the school, supporting initiatives that strengthen local education and youth development. A lifelong advocate for the Sierra Mountains and the outdoors, Jeff enjoys skiing, hiking, and paddling with friends and family.
